The Big-Fish List and catch report are stuffed with great fishing results this week.
Big-Fish List for 2015. The list recognizes the biggest fish caught on rod and reel (except opakapaka and onaga, for which we’ll accept hand line catches) in West Hawaii waters for 2015 in each of 22 categories. They are listed by species, weight, angler, skipper, boat, and date. The list is updated every Sunday throughout the year (copyright 2015 by Jim Rizzuto). If we have overlooked you, give us a call (885-4208) or send an e-mail ([email protected]).

Chip Haak
Jamie Greer from Dayton, OH recommended I reach out to you.
Our family will be in Ohau 7/2 a 7/18
I’m looking to fish and especially catch. Maybe 4-5 of us.
Can you recommend a charter for us?
Thank you
Chip

The Kona fleet includes dozens of excellent boats with a full-range of costs, practices and policies. I encourage you to examine the catch lists on this site to identify boats that have had the kind of successes you are looking for. Then google them for more information about their costs, services, and availability. Tournament season is starting, so be prepared to hear that your selection(s) may not be available when you want them.
